The work of the Wild & Scenic Westfield River Committee relies on the Westfield River Conservation and Stewardship Plan. The Plan provides the foundation and the focus for the Wild & Scenic Westfield River Committee's selection of projects and programs.
The first Westfield River Conservation & Stewardship Plan came directly from the study of the river when it was first considered for Wild & Scenic designation. The Plan was revised in 2021 in recognition of the changing needs and challenges facing the Westfield River.
